Sacha Ren’s, proposal for the establishment of an pop-up restaurant, called Pineapple Island will continue JA projects ongoing research into alternative and immersive learning environments. In partnership with the Kent Refugee Action Network, the restaurant will be entirely run and staffed by young asylum seeking children from the South Coast of England.
In addition, Jayden Ali will be taking part in a short forum exploring ideas that address the Refugee Crisis. Other speakers include: Saskia Sassen, Jaz O’Hara, Merel Graeve, Grainne Hassett, Eyal Weizmann, Corinne Squire, Marwa Al-Sabouni, Alpha.
