‘Signs of the Times’ workshops to co-design new spaces for Low Line

Commissioned by Better Bankside, JA Projects and BBUK are designing a series of street improvements, created for and with the people of Bankside for London’s Low Line. Planting, seating, bike parking and signage will create exciting spaces for people to gather on and move through.

Together we have been reaching out to the local community to make sure our designs meet their needs and desires and invited local residents to contribute to a series of workshops called ‘Signs of the Times’ this summer. Over these sessions, we thought about how to highlight and signpost the amazing diversity of activities that take place on America Street, Wardens Grove and Ewer Street and asked what local people would want to advertise or share about the area.
