Opening of ‘Nike: Form Follows Motion’ at the Vitra Design Museum
On the 20th September, the exhibition Nike: Form Follows Motion opened at the Vitra Design Museum.
JA Projects worked as exhibition designers, collaborating closely with graphic designer Daniel Streat / Visual Fields. The exhibition, curated by Glenn Adamson, charts the company’s five-decade ascent from a grassroots start-up to a global phenomenon. The focus is on Nike’s design history: from the company’s beginnings in the 1960s and the design of its famous ‘swoosh’ logo, to iconic products such as Air Max and Flyknit, and current research devoted to future materials and sustainability.
The exhibition will run until the 4th May 2025.
