JA Project’s has been selected for inclusion in the Architecture Foundation’s upcoming publication New Architects 4 - “A major publication surveying the best British architectural practices established in the past ten years.”

JA Projects have produced a documentary titled Supermamas of Wallacedene - a powerful collective of community mothers who are tangibly changing the pattern of township development.

As part of Twins, their ongoing series of architecture talks exploring difficult alliances, strange bedfellows and new relationships, curators Charles Holland and Robert Mull have invited JA Projects director Jayden Ali to take part in a panel discussion on lessons surrounding the current refugee crisis.

JA Projects have gained Planning Approval for The Ackroyd House, a contemporary extension of a typical late-Victorian terraced house in Hackney. The expansion will provide a space suitable for contemporary family living while satisfying the clients artistic ambitions.

Sacha Ren’s, proposal for the establishment of an pop-up restaurant, called Pineapple Island will continue JA projects ongoing research into alternative and immersive learning environments. In partnership with the Kent Refugee Action Network, the restaurant will be entirely run and staffed by young asylum seeking children from the South Coast of England.
